You'll need to modify the DNS settings on your Xbox in order to connect to our blended Java/Bedrock Edition environement. Doing the following steps will allow you to join any Bedrock edition server on your Xbox.
Open network settings.
Open advanced settings.
Open DNS/IPv4 settings.
Select "Manual".
For the first address, enter 104.238.130.180
For the second address, enter 1.1.1.1
You're now ready to connect. This should not affect functionality of other games. However, if issues arise it is always possible to revert to automatic settings.
You'll need to modify the DNS settings on your Switch in order to connect to our blended Java/Bedrock Edition environement. Doing the following steps will allow you to join any Bedrock edition server on your Switch.
Open system settings and scroll to the Internet option and select it.
Open your current network, and select "Change Settings."
Scroll to DNS settings and change it to "Manual".
For the primary DNS, enter 104.238.130.180
For the secondary DNS, enter 1.1.1.1

Open settings.
Select network.
Select "Set Up Internet Connection".
Select WiFi or a wired LAN connection.
Select "Custom"
Connect to your WiFi network if needed, or proceed with the current network.
Do not specify a DHCP hostname.
Select "Manual" for DNS settings.
For the primary DNS, enter 104.238.130.180
For the secondary DNS, enter 1.1.1.1
If this does not work, try again and use 173.82.100.84 for primary DNS instead.
